DOTS Dragon Companions (Minis) - Gray

These DOTS Dragon minis are 3D printed with liquid resin. The Gray is completely opaque and shows off the finest details beautifully even down to Tiny! All prints have been fully cleaned and cured, but small bumps remain on the back of the tail and bottom of the base where supports were added for printing.
Dragon is done in a young western style, sitting on his hind legs and holding an oversized green d20 that bears the braille symbol for the letter T (20 on our dice).

Support Removal
Manual sanding is recommended to remove remaining support bumps. Sanding with a nail file or high grit sandpaper (220 minimum) will remove all marks and smooth the surface of the print. A Dremel or other high speed sanding tool will work, but is not recommended.
The resin will show sanding marks once complete. Wet sanding can help reduce the amount of marks visible. Finishing with mineral oil or an acrylic clear coat will eliminate marks almost completely.
Painting
Any standard mini paint will work well for painting either color DOTS Dragon. We've had the best success with acrylic based paints.
**Isopropyl Alcohol is used to clean the uncured resin and will damage a completed print if left in contact for multiple hours. It can be used to strip paint if necessary, but is not recommended to leave in IPA for more than 12 hours**
Care
- If you plan to keep your mini in direct sunlight, it is best to seal it with a UV resistant coating (found in some spray paints) to prevent any discoloration.
- The resin is sensitive to heat and will bend easily under extreme heat from boiling water, a heat gun, or hair dryer. This can be used to slowly and carefully readjust any parts that may have bent in shipping.
